Pelican Budgeting ("Pelican", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Summary for App Store
- Data Not Collected for Tracking: We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
- Data Linked to You (if you create an account or subscribe): Contact Info (name, email), Identifiers (device ID), and Usage Data for analytics and diagnostics.
- Optional Bank Connection: If you link a bank via Plaid, financial data flows through our provider and is used solely to provide the service. We do not store your bank credentials.
Information We Collect
- Account & Contact: Name, email (when you sign up or contact support).
- Usage Data: App interactions, device information, crash logs for diagnostics and improvement.
- Financial Data (Optional): Transaction data imported via Plaid when you connect a bank account.
- Local Data: Budget data may be stored on your device; you can delete it in-app.
